Where is Sheero?
Chapter one: The Orange Cat
Zari has a cat named Sheero. She is furious and brave, and when it comes to hunting, get your popcorn ready before the hunting show.
Sheero’s boyfriend Tom often comes to visit her. Even though Zari dislikes him, she lets him inside the house because of her cat’s preference. One day, Tom was biting her, chasing after her, and fighting with her. Suddenly, amid the chase and quarrel, Sheero mustered all her courage up hissed at him and fled into the house.
Zari is observing the drama while sipping her evening coffee, and within a split second, she takes one of her slippers off and throws it at Tom in wrath. The cowardly Tom ran away, and they didn’t see him for a week.
Zari’s phone is ringing, — Hey Mom what’s up? How have you been?
Mom: I am well, just finished the house chores and resting now. You tell me what’s going on? You were telling me last week that you are coming next month. Have you booked the tickets?
Zari: No Mom, not yet, I haven’t decided the date yet. I have informed my Boss about it. But I will book the tickets by this month's end.
Mom: Okay, whatever suits you.
Zari: And you know mom Sheero has given birth to two kittens and I am taking care of them.
Mom: Animals never leave once they find a place of comfort and safety. You better not let them inside your house.
Zari: Animals won’t leave but a human can.
Mom: Okay then, bye take care have dinner.
Zari decides to go home for a week, but the kittens are living inside her house, the kittens usually hide beneath the sofa. Sometimes the kittens jump from one sofa to another and observe the things kept on the sofa and even get scared whenever Zari’s phone rings.
She locks her house before leaving for the office but keeps the kitchen window open, through which Sheero can come and go and the kittens are also safe under the sofa. But one thing was troubling Zari’s mind, she was not able to decide whether to keep the kittens locked inside or leave them outside. However, there was space for the kittens to hide on the balcony but that space was familiar to other cats in the neighbourhood.
Zari is going for a week she decides that she will be leaving the kittens outside knowing that Sheero can take care of her kittens since there is a lot of space to hide the kittens.
Zari picked up the kittens and put them outside on her balcony. Sheero started screaming and saw Zari leaving with her luggage.
Zari came back after a week spending a good time with her family. She came and found Sheero was not there. She thought Sheero might have hidden the kittens somewhere else and would come back. But even after a month, sheero wasn’t seen anywhere. Three months passed sheero didn’t come, and Zari was left alone again.
Zari thought, “Sheero might have seen someone leaving with the luggage and never returned”.
